The deck's well-engineered layout provides the safety and security needed without sacrificing comfort or ease of use. Full-length cabin top handrails, double lifelines with welded bow and stern rails, a wide recessed foredeck with bulwarks, and a premium, slip resistant surface of a contrasting low glare gelcoat all contribute to offshore safety. The handsome teak capped bowsprit platform provides easy and immediate anchor access.
Deck laminates are engineered for high strength with reduced weight, utilizing Island Packets&rsquo exclusive PolyCore system that eliminates concern for moisture intrusion and the deterioration associated with conventional deck coring materials.
The cockpit is large enough to provide an excellent sleeping area and features gently contoured seats with deep coaming backrests, a comfortable helmsman&rsquos seat, a cavernous sail locker and insulated cockpit icebox. Details such as a cockpit shower, folding stainless steel swim ladder with teak treads and a handy stern gate add considerably to both convenience and pleasure.
The tri-cabin layout is ideally suited for extended periods aboard. Two double staterooms, well separated for privacy, combined with a large, comfortable central living area provides a gracious setting whether entertaining dockside, cruising with family and friends, or passage-making offshore.
Overhead handrails, bulkhead handgrips and an easily maintained molded slip resistant cabin sole extending throughout the companionway, galley, head and nav station areas offer sure-footed movement while underway. Numerous stainless steel opening ports, Lewmar Offshore Series deck hatches and integral dorade type deck ventilators provide fresh air and natural light throughout the interior.
Main Salon:
The large main salon spans the entire beam of the yacht, imparting a spacious feel, while generous storage space is provided behind and below each settee and in large cabinets outboard. A foldaway bulkhead mounted table retracts for an unobstructed socializing area. When lowered the table provides for gracious dining while its built-in bottle and glass storage rack further adds to the pleasure of entertaining. There is a single settee on the stbd side, while the port side settee pulls out to provide another double berth.
Galley:
The large wraparound galley is to starboard of the companionway and is equally functional whether underway or at rest. A three-burner propane stove and oven with full safety features, two deep stainless steel sinks, exceptional locker, drawer, cabinet and counter space, and a large and well-insulated icebox with DC refrigeration will delight the onboard chef.
Owner's Stateroom:
The spacious forward stateroom has a large double v-berth. A large cedar lined hanging locker with 2 removable shelves, full-length teak shelves outboard and large lockers under the berth provides ample storage space. The adjoining head has a shower stall with a teak seat a deluxe vanity and storage cabinets. Louvered doors to the head and the salon ensure privacy and ventilation.
Aft Stateroom:
The aft stateroom located to port of the companionway has a large double berth, dressing seat, generous cedar lined hanging locker and a full-length teak shelf outboard. A door provides privacy from the main cabin.
