Wood-Epoxy construction – Hull: 2 layers of 3/8” marine-grade Douglas Fir plywood; Deck: 2 layers of Okoume marine plywood. The hull and deck are sheathed in epoxy with 11 oz. cloth. The fin keel is Ferro-Cement with iron shot ballast, steel armature, and epoxy sheathing per the designer specs; outboard rudder; stern pulpit with double lifelines; boom gallows; 2 opening ports; 2 hatches; 3 Dorade vents; 8’ self-bailing cockpit; pale green topsides with red boottop and shear strake; pale green decks; copper bottom paint; tiller steering; Voyageur wind-vane steering gear; bow sprit with anchor rollers port and starboard.
The yacht sleeps 4 and has 6’2” headroom.
Double berth stateroom in the forepeak with sitting headroom; settee berths port and starboard in the main cabin with a drop-leaf table; galley aft to starboard with the chart table and enclosed head aft to port.
The Galley has a Taylors 2 burner kerosene stove with oven; 12 volt cooler-box; dual stainless steel sinks and generous counter and locker space.
The Head has a Chemical toilet and a sink w/ vanity.
The yacht is finished to a high standard in the Herreshoff style: painted bulkheads with solid Douglas Fir and Mahogany trim, cabinet doors and drawer faces finished bright; Douglas Fir cabin sole. She has a wood stove, hanging locker, chart table, 60 gallon fresh water capacity, via FanSpray bronze hand-pumps, and black fabric upholstery.
Torqeedo ‘Cruise 4.0’ electric outboard in a well (2011). The plans show that there is space for a Yanmar diesel.
